Happy New Year!

PA Meetings and AGM

In response to feedback, we will be holding every other PA meeting on a Friday morning in order to help those that are unable to attend in the evenings due to childcare issues or work commitments.  Therefore please join us on Friday 20^th January at 9am in the Children’s Centre. You can bring your child/children along to the Friday morning meetings and these meetings will last just one hour.

Also, we will be holding our AGM on Monday 6^th February 2012 at 8pm in the Junior Hall.  All are welcome!  Refreshments will be served from 7.30pm.

If you are interested in joining the Committee or would like to put yourself forward for an Officer’s role (such as Chair, Deputy Chair, Treasurer or Secretary), please send an email to Atwood PA before the 3^rd February.

Should the current holders of the positions Chair, Deputy Chair or Treasurer wish to stand for another term and are successfully voted in at the AGM then this will be their third and final year.  In accordance with our constitution, the same person can only hold an officer position for a maximum of three years. 

At the PA AGM the new committee for 2012/13 willbe formed. All parents at Atwood are members of the PA but the committee collectively organise social and fundraising events throughout the year to raise money to benefit the education of the children at our school. With your help we can provide the very best for our children. We understand that life is busy but if everyone does a little bit, so much can be achieved when we work together.    We look forward to seeing you in the near future!

ATWOOD Needs you!

The Atwood Parents Association is the for whole school community – Parents, carers, children
and school staff alike, we welcome involvement from everyone.

We are constantly looking for people to take an active part in the PA’s work, as well as new ideas for
events and activities,which will be fun for everyone at Atwood which in turn raises money for out fantastic school.

 New Ideas!    

If you have any ideas, large or small, please pass them on to your class rep or email the PA. The PA will be delighted to hear from you.
